Nicola has over twenty years’ experience in the publishing industry, both in trade publishing, and as an award-winning and bestselling author in her own right. She began her career working for Hodder & Stoughton, where she launched the literary careers of bestsellers Max Pemberton and Rae Earl, and worked with authors including Andy Riley, Graham Norton and Al Murray. She has also published eight novels in total, most recently with Penguin/Michael Joseph. She has worked as a consultant editor for the Romantic Novelists’ Association, Cornerstones Literary Consultancy, Curtis Brown Creative and HarperCollins among others. She loves working with authors and storytellers, finding that the best approach starts with positive feedback and a careful listening ear.
